The Tuckasegee River in the Spring offers world class fly fishing for trout! This legendary river is one of the hottest Fly Fishing destinations in the East. Fly Fishing the Smokies offers both Wade Trips and Float Trips to over 14 sections of the Tuckasegee. This world class river is home to 34,500 trout per mile! This is the highest trout count per mile of any river in the country. In the Spring from March through May is when we see our guests catch the most fish all year!
